Don Afton was the younger brother of William Afton, the co-founder of Fazbear Entertainment. 

History:

Early Life and Career Beginnings (1940–1970)

Born in April 1940 in the market town of Higham Ferrers, Northamptonshire, Don Mark Afton was the youngest child of Admiral Harold Mark Afton and Judy Belgrave Smith, followed by siblings Nancy, Harold Jr and William. After his father died serving overseas in Pearl Harbour during the Second World War, his mother relocated the family to Bedford, Bedfordshire, where his brother William developed an enduring interest in engineering and construction. Don left home at 16 in 1956, and enlisted in the British Army as a private. He was deployed to serve his country in 1956 to help with the "Cyprus Emergency". He was court marshaled and then formally discharged from the army in 1958 due to attitude problems and attacking a commander while based in Cyprus. Between 1958 and 1970, Don drifted between low wage jobs and briefly secured a role as a lighting technician at Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire between 1964-1966. He later moved to Frankfurt, West Germany to study invention and engineering and worked for a vehicle engine manufacturer until 1970. 

Move to India and the murder of Sunita-Meera Kavita (1970–1980)

Don Afton applied to work for a new robotics company in Calcutta, India in 1970 in the technical department. He later settled and met a woman in 1972 named Sunita-Meera Kavita while on a work trip to Mumbai. They dated and got married in 1973, they did not have any children. However, in 1976 while on a work trip to Abu Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. He reported Kavita missing to the police while on a trip. When police went to check his Calcutta Condo, she was found dead while stuck in a prototype animatronic springlock suit for a character he called "Tomko" who was based on the Indian Bengal Tiger. The police were so horrified by this that it was reported one of the police was sent to a mental institution. An arrest warrant was issued for the arrest of Don Afton. However, he had fled back to the United Kingdom by this point and was unable to be found.

Reunion with William Afton and building Endoskeletons (1981–1990)

Following the murder of Sunita-Meera Kavita and his arrest warrant reaching the United Kingdom. Attempts to find Don Afton were made but to no avail. This was due to him returning under a new ID of "William Afton Jr" and his brother William Afton shielding him from the police. Eventually, Don Afton was declared legally dead in 1985 due to no sighting or movements in his accounts. William trained Don to build endoskeletons and using his previous work experience as a technician and inventor. Don upgraded the endoskeletons first for the Nightmare animatronics in Cardiff, Wales. Then for the new Toy Animatronics in London, England just after they replaced the original animatronics.

Final years and Death (1990–1999)

In 1990, Don was given the job of the nightguard for the pizzeria. A role he maintained for the next 9 years making sure the toy animatronics were maintained and the pizzeria was secured. However, in 1999 following the escape of the Withered Animatronics from London. Don attempted to alert William to the fact the withered animatronics were looking to leave. However, without realizing it until it was too late. Withered Foxy pounced Don and repeatedly stabbed him with his hook until Don succumbed to the wounds inflicted by Withered Foxy. 

It was later revealed during a meeting between Golden Freddy and Puppet Foxy, that Foxy had originally thought he killed William Afton. However, it was actually his brother Don Afton.
