Freddy Fazbear is a brown bear and the leader of the Fazbear Gang, which comprises of himself, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy and Golden Freddy. He speaks with a distinct Scottish accent.

History:

He was created in 1984 by Fazbear Entertainment as a successor to Fredbear, who was retired at the end of 1983 alongside Spring Bonnie. He is different from the many other Freddy Fazbears in the Five Nights at Freddy's Franchise, due to him being native to Scotland in the United Kingdom. As a result, he speaks in a distinct Scottish accent. He was the lead singer of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria in London, England. He and the other Fazbear Gang were damaged in 1989, following a brutal fight with Grimm Foxy, Shadow Bonnie and Shadow Freddy's army. In 1990, he and the rest of the Fazbear Gang were left in Parts and Services. Having been replaced by the Toy Animatronics. Where they remained until 1999, when he and the Fazbear Gang with help from Golden Freddy who was killed alongside Spring Bonnie at the end of Episode 5 returns to help the withered animatronics. To kill the Puppet Foxy and the Toy Animatronics in Episode 2, The Origins. 

After the toys and Puppet Foxy were supposedly killed, the withereds escaped with Mangle and Golden Freddy. However, Mangle succumbed to the outage of the Fazbear Protocol and Network. After which the Fazbear Gang with Mangle's corpse escaped from London, to Portobello in Edinburgh, Scotland to a new pizzeria that was awaiting to be opened and thus became the Fazbear Gang's new home. 

In Episode 1, Generator Blues. Which takes place in 2026, Freddy is depicted as being more bitter and less tolerant then he was in 1984. After fixing the generator with Chica, following Bonnie and Foxy destroying it with target practice. When Golden Freddy returns to 2026, having spent almost 35 years in dark searching for a fix to bring back Mangle. Freddy is less welcoming back, and is not willing to tolerate Golden Freddy's attitude towards the four Fazbear Band members. After which, they have Welsh Cakes and forget about the issues of the day.

Personality:

Freddy is depicted as a stern and serious leader, despite having a slightly more relaxed and funny side. He tends to only show it if he is not being insulted or mocked. He is very extreme in his disciplinary actions, especially with the Fazbear Band and Gang. He does not accept leadership challenges or tolerate inappropriate behavior. He is shown to have a very caring side for his crew, despite maintaining a serious tone and demeanor. He also respects Golden Freddy and Spring Bonnie, but only as his predecessors and as the Golden Kings. He has a Scottish accent, mostly due to his association with the Scottish Highlands.

Physical Appearance:

His animatronic skeleton is covered by brown fur. His head is shaped like a bear with two small round ears, blue eyes, a black nose which can make a honk noise, three small dots on both sides of his cheeks, a bow tie on his neck, four paws on each hand and three on each of his feet. He also sometimes holds a microphone and has a music box built into his endoskeleton. He also has the ability to control the cameras and shut down the power generators briefly allowing him to do his iconic jump scare.

Trivia:

*Freddy shares a few similarities with his counterpart from Tony Crynight's series. This includes counting money, others making their problems his own and mishaps.

*This is the only version of Freddy in any series to be from Scotland in both accent and identity. 

*Freddy admitted to Fredbear and Spring Bonnie that he, alongside the other Fazbear Band disliked the, "Let's Go To London" song from Episode 3.

*Freddy mentions he has been challenged as the "top dog" by the other members of his band, this likely reflects leadership status. Whereby Freddy admitted using harsh and physical disciplinary methods with Bonnie, Chica, Foxy and even Cupcake. 

*Freddy calls each member of his band by their full names, when he is either angry or annoyed when being questioned. This is also done in the series "Freddy Fazbear and Friends" on AndrewJohn100's YouTube Channel. With Freddy calling Bonnie, Chica and Foxy by their names when he is either angry, or punishes them for causing incidents or fights.

*Freddy was built in 1984, and admitted in both Episode 1 and 4. That he has to keep looking for spare screws and oil to maintain his joints from falling off. Or rusting away, likely reflecting they are not often maintained or serviced as they were. In the London branch of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria between late 1983 and 1985.
