Springtrap, also known as the Yellow Rabbit is a Golden-Orange rabbit and the leader of the Nightmare Cabal. He is possessed by the undead corpse of William Afton, one of the two owners of Fazbear Entertainments. 

History:

He was created in 1970, alongside Fredbear by Fredbear Entertainment Ltd and Afton Robotics as the mascot for the new Fredbear and Spring Bonnie Act. They were created for use for birthday parties and events. Unlike his counterpart in the London branch of Fredbear's Family Diner, this version of Spring Bonnie was simply for entertainment and performances only. However, this was William Afton's favorite version of the Spring Bonnie character. He often used this to lure and kill unsuspecting burgalars and people breaking in to explore during closure. As a result, he was instrumental in the eventual closure of the Cardiff branch of Freddy Fazbear's Diner. The suit utilized a springlock mechanism and during one night at the diner in 1996, William Afton is attacked by the nightmare animatronics. This leads to him seeking refuge in the suit but as a result, the springlock mechanism in the suit fails and ends up killing him. The suit later activates, now possessed by the undead spirit of William Afton who becomes the leader of the Nightmare Cabal after giving the Nightmares life.

Personality:

Unlike his London counterpart, who was hyperactive and friendly. Springtrap is far more aggressive and shows zero patience for excuses. He is often depicted as a cold hearted leader and does not show any empathy or understanding. He is only interested in his orders being followed and for no one to question them. He has a slightly understanding for Scroll, who is possessed by Joshua Guest. William remembers his trust in Guest and as a result, allows him to co-lead the Nightmare Cabal to the dismay of the other nightmares.

Springtrap features rabbit ears with one dark tip, blue eyes, a purple bow tie, weathered printing with exposed endoskeleton details across his body, three toes on each foot and a knife in his right hand.

*This Springtrap is more vengeful and rules the Shadow Cabal through fear and intimidation. 

*Springtrap shows a soft spot for Scroll, due to the connection that Afton had with Guest as friends and employees. Prior to both their deaths resulting in them possessing animatronics.
