History:
Early Life and Career Beginnings (1950–1983)
Born in May 1950 in the town of Morley, near Leeds in the West Riding of Yorkshire, Steven Raglan was the son of renowned doctor Dr Brian Gifford Raglan (who served as a war doctor during both World Wars) and Elaine Judy Morecambe. His mother passed away from childbirth complications shortly after his birth, and at age 15, his father died from a broken heart brought on by that loss. At age 20, Raglan discovered he had a maternal half-sister named Mary Morecambe; upon reuniting, she helped him secure work as police staff at Huddersfield Town Police Station.
He subsequently studied law and accounting at York University, graduating before moving to Birmingham in 1980 to work as a barrister. He practiced law until 1983, when he was dismissed following claims of bullying and abuse.
Partnership with William Afton and Fazbear Entertainment (1983–1989)
While on a trip to London shortly after his dismissal, Raglan met William Afton, who was impressed by his background. Following the November 1983 death of Henry Emily, Afton offered Raglan a position as co-owner and lawyer for his company—initially off the books before he was officially appointed as a company director in 1985.
Following the 1983 closure of Fredbear's Family Diner, Afton and Raglan rebranded the enterprise as "Fazbear Entertainment" and opened "Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria," retaining a limited-movement Puppet Foxy alongside four new animatronics: Bonnie the Bunny, Chica the Chicken, Foxy the Pirate Fox, and Freddy Fazbear. Between 1983 and 1989, Raglan and Afton spearheaded a major regional expansion, opening a Cardiff branch, planning an Edinburgh location, launching the "Rockstars" in Manchester in 1986, the "Funtimes" in Nottingham in 1988, and the "Glamrockers" in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 1993.
The Toy Era and Sole Ownership (1990–Present)
In 1990, Afton and Raglan replaced the Fazbear Band with the Toy Animatronics, renaming the London venue "Toy Freddy's Pizzeria" and outfitting the models with advanced technological features like facial recognition, audio lures, and social manipulation. Around this period, Raglan relocated to York, North Yorkshire.
Following the sudden disappearances of William Afton and Joshua Guest (Scroll), Raglan ordered the permanent closure and abandonment of the Cardiff branch. He eventually assumed total ownership of Fazbear Entertainment, a position he maintains to this day.
Personality:
Steven Raglan is very deceptive and talks from an unimpressed owner, always thinking negative then positive. He prefers to be realistic about Afton's ambitions and is tries to keep cushy ties with the investors and government.
