Shadow Freddy is a purple broken bear and the leader of the Shadow Syndicate. He is the first ever animatronic to be constructed by Henry Emily and William Afton in 1969. He was a prototype for a diner named "Purple Bear's Diner", based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. 

History:

Origins and Destruction (1969–1972)

Originally known as "Purple Freddy", Shadow Freddy served as the prototype for a diner in Belfast, Northern Ireland, that opened in 1969, constructed collaboratively by Henry Emily's company (Emily's Animatronics Ltd) and William Afton's company (Afton Robotics). The diner initially enjoyed immense popularity, hosting legendary bands such as the Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, Sweet, and Queen. In 1971, he suddenly malfunctioned and caught fire. Left beyond repair after the flames were extinguished, the animatronic chassis was consigned to the back storage room and the diner was closed as a result.

Rebirth and the Formation of the Shadow Syndicate (1979–1980)

In 1979, seven years after the fire destroyed him, an unknown ball of light entered the burnt robot, reanimating him with supernatural powers—though he had already been replaced on stage by Fredbear and subsequently Spring Bonnie. Harboring deep resentment and vowing revenge against the establishment, he escaped one night after killing a night guard and subduing Puppet Foxy, then teleported to Belfast, Northern Ireland. Establishing his base inside a chimney at the Crumlin Road Gaol Visitor Attraction and Conference Centre, he created Shadow Bonnie (his brother and second-in-command) and Grimm Foxy (his brother and third-in-command). He dispatched them to London in 1979 to capture and interrogate the newly created animatronic, Puppet Foxy; upon Puppet Foxy's refusal to cooperate, Grimm Foxy killed him and assumed his identity. Utilizing his supernatural abilities, Shadow Freddy subsequently created Phantom Foxy and Phantom Freddy in 1980.

The London Offensive and Fallout (1980–1990)

Later, Shadow Freddy led a full-scale attack on Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria in London at the head of the Shadow Syndicate and the newly constructed Toy Animatronics. He seized control of Fredbear and Spring Bonnie, using them to destroy the original Fazbear Band (Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Freddy). He then forced Spring Bonnie to stab Fredbear before striking down Spring Bonnie himself. Following a brief individual conflict with Fredbear from which he emerged victorious, Shadow Freddy commanded the Shadow Syndicate to place the four Fazbear Band members into the Parts and Services room while dispatching Fredbear and Spring Bonnie to the incinerator.

Upon returning to Belfast, he was contacted by his brother, Shadow Bonnie, regarding a crisis: Grimm Foxy had murdered Toy Foxy and initiated a coup alongside the other Toy Animatronics against Shadow Bonnie's leadership. In response, Shadow Freddy forced Shadow Bonnie to relinquish his leadership, severed all ties between the Shadow Syndicate and Grimm Foxy and the Toys, and directed Shadow Bonnie to align with the Withereds to bring them down.

Later Events and Alignment (1999–Present)

Retreating back to Belfast, Shadow Freddy remained unseen until 1999, following the Withereds and Golden Freddy's destruction of the Toys and apparent destruction of Grimm Foxy. Shadow Bonnie contacted him to report on these events and inform him of the relocation of the Fazbear Band remnants to Portobello in Edinburgh, Scotland. Expressing eager anticipation of reuniting with Fredbear in the future, Shadow Freddy noted that by this time, the Rockstars and Funtimes had aligned with the Shadow Syndicate.

Personality:

Shadow Freddy is very deceptive, controlling and shows little to no mercy. He is a very dangerous entity and is power matched with Golden Freddy in his ability to teleport, fight and cause destruction. He seeks to destroy all of Fazbear Entertainment's establishments and rule the world. He has a slight soft spot for his brother, Shadow Bonnie and Grimm Foxy. He is strict and does not accept failure or mistakes.

Physical Appearance:

His animatronic skeleton is covered by dark purple fur. His head is shaped like a bear with a black top hat and a missing left ear with wires protruding out. He has black hollow eyes with white pupils, a black nose, black tie on his neck, two black buttons on his chest, four paws on each hand, three toes on each foot. His upper lip is also heavily rotted away with his teeth almost fully visible. He is also badly burnt and damaged to the point, his parts and fur have in sections rotted away or broken off.

*Shadow Freddy is a very cunning and evil tyrant of a leader, running his operations similar to those of Megatron from Transformers. Whom he stated in the Belfast Mishap episode. As his icon and influence. 

*Shadow Freddy is inspired by the Shadow Freddy's from both Zajcu37 and AaronSFM series, mostly due to his evil and cunning ways. As well as ability to punish those who fail. As he did so with Nightmare Mangle in Shadows of a Dark Destiny. And in Seasons 1 and Season 4 of The Memories, when under control he destroyed Shadow Bonnie, Spring Bonnie, Fredbear, Golden Freddy and the Fazbear Band.

*Shadow Freddy speaks with a very demonic and synthetic English voice, where he has a commanding tone.

*When he was first built, he had a stubborn attitude and was fitted with prototype parts and faulty wiring.
